The new call for candidatures for the “Reporting climate change” online training course is open to journalists from the MENA region, the Balkans and the Gulf (deadline: April 30, 2021).
Since 2015, COPEAM, with the support of the EIB - European Investment Bank, has been organizing annual international activities open to television, radio and press journalists on the topics of climate change and sustainable development. These initiatives aim to strengthen the knowledge and professional skills of beneficiaries, while promoting quality information around issues of global interest.
At the end of 2020, thanks to the partnership with the EIB, COPEAM and the International Telematic University UNINETTUNO launched the international e-learning course “Reporting Climate Change”. Video lessons and case studies provided by high-level international experts, a teacher-tutor as support for the participants, a rich catalogue of didactic material, slides, articles and links: a unique training opportunity for young journalists from the MENA region and the Balkans.
Building on the success of this first edition and with an opening also to the Gulf countries, COPEAM and its partners are launching a new call for applications for 20 available positions.
