New challenges for COPEAM after 15 years of action"
The 18th annual Conference of COPEAM (Permanent Conference of the Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators), held in the whereabouts of the sea village of Agia Napa, in Cyprus, upon the kind invitation of the Cypriot public broadcaster (CyBC), ended successfully. This event gathered 240 professionals of the audiovisual and cultural sector from all the countries of the region.
The main focus of these threeâ€day debates and exchanges was: “a shared Mediterranean audiovisual landscape”.
Representatives of broadcasters of the Northern and Southern shores of the Mediterranean,international press agencies, important intergovernmental organizations and multimedia and interactive platforms presented, also through several video contributions, the initiatives, the project and the products they realized.
The day after, the delegates of the organizations members of COPEAM, gathered on the occasion of the General Assembly, adopted the “Cyprus Charter”, final resolution on the promotion of and the support to Mediterranean audiovisual co-productions.

VISA & Accomodations
Visa for entry to Cyprus
1. For Balkan countries that are not members of the EU:
- Citizens of Croatia do not need a visa.
- Citizens of Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina , Serbia, Montenegro and FYROM need a visa to enter Cyprus if their passports do not contain biometric data.
Citizens of these countries can obtain a visa from the embassies of Cyprus in Belgrade, Budapest, Ljubljana, Athens and from the Cyprus consulate in Thessaloniki.
2. For holders of Schengen visas:
Any citizen of a third country (not an EU member), who holds a valid and activated Schengen visa, does not need a visa to enter Cyprus.
3. The above also applies to holders of a “special passport”.
If you need an entry visa, kindly visit the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus at www.mfa.gov.cy and click on «Consular Information» in
the menu on the left hand side for information and guidance on how to obtain a visa. Visas can be obtained from any Cyprus embassy/consulate.
CyBC will provide the necessary invitation letter after registration.

To confirm your hotel booking, it is absolutely needed your credit card number. No fees will be charged before client’s check out.

For booking cancellation up to 8 days prior to the arrival date, no cancellation fee will be charged;

For booking cancellation between 7 days to 49h prior to the arrival date, a cancellation fee equivalent to the first night’s accommodation will be charged;

For booking cancellation less than 48h prior to the arrival date or in case of no-show, a cancellation fee equivalent to the full booked period will be charged to the guest΄s credit card number.
