The co-productions represent one of the most important sector which COPEAM has always given a crucial relevance to and which has been developed thanks to different partnerships and synergies set up during these years. In fact, it represents a strategic sector for our Association allowing, on a long-term period, the creation of a Euro-Arab audiovisual imaginary, that is diversified butbased on a shared cooperation and intercultural spirit. 2009 COPEAM « On air » on SAT2000
In view ofdeveloping a Euro-Mediterranean channel, COPEAM continues its action of promotion of the Mediterranean audiovisual products. In this spirit, in 2009 it has continued its collaboration with the Italian channel by satellite SAT2000, in order to promote its activities and the ones of its members. This cooperation has allowed to hold, between January and June, bimonthly appointments aiming at informing the international general audience regarding the most innovative initiatives undertaken by the Association.
Med-Mem : Audiovisual Mediterranean Memories

Looking for a new TV format : the first contest launched by SAT2000
“Let’s change the programme”: this is the name of the contest that the satellite channel Sat2000 has launched to find out new ideas for TV programmes. The contest has taken place during the whole year through the presentation of formats by young non-professional authors, in the framework of SAT2000 show called “Il Grande Talk”. The meeting of the Radio Commission of COPEAM on the 27th October 2006 in Porto Vecchio (France) has marked a founding stage through the launching of the first Mediterranean radio coproduction, dedicated to the theme « Portraits of Legendary footballers ». By now, a second series dedicated to the « Mythical Harbours of the Mediterranean » is soon going to be crowned. Piloted by France Bleu Frequenza Mora and based on the basket principle – according to which each radio registers its own episodes and receive in exchange the complete series realised by all the other partners – those coproductions…
