La 1ère  réunion du groupe d’experts  en matière de  télévision et de services audiovisuels à la demande s’est tenue à Tunis, les 23 -24 Septembre 2013. CDSU: Recommendations for a new financial mechanism to support the production and co-production in the Mediterranean area.


One of the achievements of the Capacity Building Support Unit (CDSU) of the EU programme Euromed Audiovisual III is the setting up of a Working Group on financing. Anna Lindh Mediterranean Journalist Award 2013


COPEAM is media partner of the Anna Lindh Foundation for the Mediterranean Journalist Award 2013 edition.
Journalists from the 42 countries of the Union for the Mediterranean are invited to submit their works on cross-cultural reporting until next 30th of June to take part in the 7th edition of the competition. The winners will be announced during the awarding ceremony that will take place in London, in October 2013.

The unannounced shutting down of the public audiovisual group ERT by the Greek government is a dangerous precedent in the history of our modern democracies. Tirana: UNESCO-COPEAM second seminar on gender mainstreaming


On 27-28 May, the second seminar on the adaptation of UNESCO Gender-Sensitive Indicators for Media (GSIM) took place in Tirana. Organized by COPEAM and hosted by the Albanian public broadcaster – RTSH, the workshop focused on the female presence and role within the organization. A group of TV and radio professionals worked on a critical analysis of the GSIM and adapted them to the RTSH context to carry out an evaluation of internal policies and practices on gender equality. The Binmen of the Med: Coastal cleaning operation
