Ouarzazate and Marrakech, 12 – 14 November 2016

The second training seminar organised by COPEAM in collaboration with the EIB – European Investment Bank and the European Union, was held in Morocco (Ouarzazate and Marrakech) from 12 to 14 November 2016 in the framework of COP22 (world conference on climate). Aside a series of events devoted to the media in the Mediterranean – debates, workshops, conferences, seminars, shows – the Villa Méditerranée/AViTeM organised last June 16 and 17 in Marseille, gathering audiovisual and press journalists, experts, artists, associations and institutions from the whole region, COPEAM, in collaboration with the EU-funded MedMedia project,  held a roundtable and a professional meeting devoted to journalism training in the southern shore of the Mediterranean basin.

Tunis, 16-17 December 2015

With the support of the EIB – European Investment Bank and in collaboration with ASBU, COPEAM organized in Tunis, on 16 and 17 December 2015, a 2-day training workshop  on “Informing and raising awareness about climate challenges and sustainable development”.

Journalists from EPTV/Algeria, EPRS/Algeria, PBC/Palestine, Radio Tunisienne, SNRT/Morocco, TéléLiban, and Télévision Tunisienne  attended this session aimed at improving their knowledge and their reporting skills related to environmental and climate change issues.

COPEAM joined the project MedMedia, an EU funded action conducted by a consortium led by BBC Media Action, aiming at creating a favourable environment for media reform in the southern Mediterranean region, with a particular emphasis on legislation, regulation, programming, supporting strategies in the transition process of these media to a real public service mission.

Cairo, 8-13 February 2015

In the framework of the training sessions that ERTU – Egyptian Radio and Television Union is organising and hosting this year, COPEAM contributed to the first workshop on cultural documentary held in Cairo from the 8th to the 13th February 2015. 8-9 December 2014 – ESAV Marrakech

On the 8 and 9 December in Marrakesh, COPEAM, in partnership with ESAV Marrakesh and with the support of the EU Programme Euromed Audiovisual III, organises a professional meeting on the topic “Developing and sustaining your film festival“.
