As a partner of the 2009 edition of PLURAL +, a youth video festival on migration, diversity and social inclusion organized by the U.N. Alliance of Civilisations in partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), COPEAM awarded the Dutch project “Just another nationality”. Indeed, COPEAM invited the two young video-makers, Vera Klandermans and Jane Johannes, to take part in the closing session of the Conference of Paris so to present their interesting project and to show its video clip to all the event’s participants

“In order to try to disclose and understand what’s behind stereotypes and appearances in a multicultural city like Amsterdam, these young video-makers have chosen a fresh approach and an innovative audiovisual language that mixes the documentary format and the web potentialities; a very interesting multilateral, intercultural, and multimedia project”: this is the motivation at the basis of COPEAM choice.
The Alliance of Civilisations launched the call for entries for the 2010 edition of PLURAL +. The deadline for entries is the 30th June 2010.
