JOUSSOUR: A sparkling conclusion

Malta, December 3rd - 5th 2012

The Maltese public television hosted, from 3 to 5 December 2012, the second coproduction workshop of JOUSSOUR, a cross-border project aiming at producing a series of docu-mags on the best environmental practices in the Mediterranean coastal regions.

The project – co-funded by the UE through the ENPI CBCMED Programme (managed by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia) and carried out by the following consortium: COPEAM (project leader), ASBU/Tunisia, PBS/Malta, Rai Educational/Italy and EBU as associated partner – reached a crucial step of its implementation.

The 9 film directors from the public TVs of Cyprus, Egypt, Spain, France (FR3/Corse ViaStella), Jordan, Palestine and Tunisia, together with the ones of Malta and Italy, met once again with the Cross-border Executive Production and the coordination team for the screening of their products.
The meeting was the occasion to make an assessment on the series as a whole, to define the postproduction final steps, to establish the delivery and the exchange terms and to set up the dissemination and the distribution strategies of the 12 docu-mags.
