Conversano, 13 - 16 September 2018
The 14th edition of the European Cultural Festival Lector in Fabula took place in Conversano (Apulia, Italy) from 13 to 16 September, devoted to "Imagination and Power in the Digital Era".
COPEAM was present during the event with several activities, among which the radio program MusicaMed, a weekly magazine promoting the contemporary Mediterranean music scene, which has daily offered to the public a journey across the sounds of Maghreb and Middle East, to discover together the best emerging talents of the Arab world.
The best of the last three editions of “Inter-Rives”, international documentary co-production promoted and coordinated by COPEAM in partnership with ASBU, was screened during 3 evenings of the festival; a section was also dedicated to a selection of short films from "A première vue", a project promoting the students’ works from the film schools of Lebanon (ALBA), Morocco (ESAVM) and Tunisia (ESAC) associated to COPEAM.
Finally, two international panels co-organised by COPEAM took place in the framework of the event: one on "Cultural heritage and cultural economy", one on "Media Power and Big Data in the digital era", with the participation of prominent personalities from the Euro-Arab cultural world.
