From the 5th to the 7th July 2006, the 8th meeting of MNRA – Mediterranean Network of Regulatory Authorities has been held in Barcelona under the presidency of the French Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel. Mr. Mustapha Bennabi, Vice Secretary General of COPEAM, has presented the activities of the Association and the conclusions of the Conference of Palermo within the session devoted to “The circulation of the audiovisual works in the Mediterranean area”.
One of the conclusions of the meeting is focused on the setting up and the institutionalisation of a permanent framework of relations between COPEAM and MNRA, strongly wanted by the new Catalan President of the network, Mr. Josep Maria Carbonell.
