H.E. the Ambassador Mohamed Khamlichi, Vice- Secretary General of the Arab League in charge of Information and Communication, has invited, for the first time, EBU and COPEAM to participate in the Council of the Arab League Ministers of Information, that was held in Cairo on the 20th and 21st June 2007.
This event marks a renewed attention paid by the Arab League’s political authorities to the media development and to the international cooperation in this field.
COPEAM Secretary General took the floor in the opening session by wishing a renewed political support to the audiovisual cooperation in the Mediterranean region.
