Belgrade, 16-18 April 2013
36 professionals from the Western Balkans, all working in film and audiovisual archives or audiovisual production societies, attended the second executive seminar of Balkans’ Memory in Belgrade, from 16th to 18th April.
This seminar - organized in Belgrade and dedicated to digitization and storage of the cinematographic and audiovisual content - is the second of a series of 5 seminars and regional training actions dedicated to professionals from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, F.Y.R. of Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia.
The theory sessions were integrated with case studies presented by experts from the targeted or neighbouring countries as well as with a visit to the national TV archives and to the Cinematheque of Belgrade.
Next seminar will be held in autumn in Podgorica, in partnership with the Cinematheque of Montenegro and the RTCG. It will be devoted to: legal framework, documentation practices and promotion of digital content.
