Upon invitation of the Anna Lindh Foundation Italian Head of Network RIDE-APS, COPEAM took part in an event held in Primošten (Croatia) on 10 and 11 April and dedicated to youth in the Mediterranean.
Various topics were approached by participants from all over the Mediterranean region during the two-day conference, such as youth and the EU, youth resilience, intercultural competences for social cohesion and integration, young people’s activism and volunteering in the community, social entrepreneurship and philanthropy related to youth.
In that occasion, a number of projects focusing on youth were presented: the two "flagship" ones by RIDE-APS, Sceana Mediterranea, on the enhancement of the historical and archaeological heritage of the Mediterranean Basin, and Popolinfesta, promoting the exchange between autochthone and foreign communities and the construction of cultural bridges between different identities; the ERASMUS+ Virtual Exchange and FIEST, a training on TV series writing illustrated by COPEAM delegate, Mrs Paola Parri, Deputy Secretary General, who also spoke about the initiatives carried out during the last year for the promotion of young talents of the film and audiovisual sector in the Mediterranean.
