2008-06-12 - The international jury of the 27th International Grand Prix for Author's Documentaries has proclaimed its prize list on Monday, June 9th, 2008.
Composed by 12 members and chaired by Laure Adler, the Jury has honoured four films among 105 documentaries presented by 66 television channels from 38 countries. The Prizes were awarded during the Monte Carlo Television Festival at the Hotel Hermitage.
The quality, the plurality of glances, the variety of the cultural and geographical origins of the four awarded films reflect URTI's universal and humanist values.

This quite original initiative allows them to stay longer in their children's memories beyond the fate brought by the disease.

The Jury wanted to underline the quality of the direction as well as the strength and the purity of the pictures, which show with sobriety the extreme poverty of a jeopardized population in Burundi.
