The conference “Connecting, Communicating and Networking with Diasporas” will be held in Dublin from 4 to 6 May, hosted by the Dept. of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland and organised by ICMPD with the support of Diaspora Matters, this event will mark the launch of EUROMED Migration IV, funded by the European Union and led by the EU DG NEAR.
The aim of the event is to build on the recommendations of EUROMED Migration III in the area of Migration and Development, specifically Diaspora engagement, to further explore the diasporas’ trans-spatial link with a focus on communications and networking.
COPEAM will contribute to the panel “Diasporas in the media” by presenting the initiatives related to the topic of Refugees conducted over the last year, starting from the annual conference of Malta and its Final Resolution.
