Closing workshop of Inter-Rives 10 – “The Power of Art: Creativity for Change”

The closing workshop of Inter Rives 10, TV coproduction project promoted by COPEAM and ASBU took place in Tunis on February 11 and 12, 2025.          
13 film directors partaken, representing the TV partners of the project: BNT/Bulgaria ; ERT/Greece;  France Télévisions/France; HRT/Croatia; RAI/Italy;  RTVE/Spain; JRTV/Jordan; Iraq TV; Oman TV; PBC/Palestine; SBA/Saudi Arabia; SNRT/Morocco; Télévision Tunisienne/Tunisia.
The workshop was the occasion to screen - and discuss together with the ASBU-COPEAM coordination team - the rough-cuts of the 13 short documentaries (13’ each) produced on this edition’s topic: “The Power of Art: Creativity for Change”. Powerful stories of artists and performers all around the Mediterranean region and beyond were portrayed, creating a rich collection of high quality products which will be ready for broadcast at the end of March 2025.  
Thanks to the so called “basket formula”, each partner TV has in fact obtained the right to broadcast for free on its channels all the documentaries produced. A win-win initiative promoting professional exchange, international networking and the circulation of cultural audiovisual products within COPEAM and ASBU networks.    
This year, we proudly celebrate the 10^th edition of Inter-Rives project, a tangible example of Euro-Arab cooperation in the audiovisual field and a bridge connecting creativity between the two shores of the Mediterranean!
