Representatives from the organisations members of the World Radio Day (13 February) Committee, gathered in Paris at UNESCO headquarters on May 9 to make an assessment of the 2016 edition of this annual event.
The different initiatives organised around this date were presented, among which the round table/projection that COPEAM organised at the Villa Méditerranée in Marseille.
The participants shared reflections on the WRD future evolutions and on the topic proposal for the 2017 edition - Radio listening to you – so to highlight the interactive and contemporary features of Radio in the age of digital convergence.
A further meeting will take place in September 2016 aimed at finalizing the topic and at planning the activities for the upcoming year.
