“Reporting Climate Change – Microcredentials for international journalists”, the new extended edition of the e-learning programme promoted by COPEAM and Uninettuno University, officially started on July 16 with the support of the Italian Ministry of Education and Research.
About 30 beneficiaries, professional journalists from the MENA Region and Sub-Saharan Africa, have been selected to participate in this multilingual, postgraduate academic programme, designed to strengthen the reporting skills on climate change and environmental issues such as water and food security, the impact on migration, energy transition and regenerative economy.
The course will be open for a period of 18 weeks, from July 2024 until the end of November 2024, on the didactic platform of Uninettuno, through video-lessons and case studies provided by high-level international experts and with a tutor coordinating the participating journalists in the framework of interactive classes.
The group of trainees, under completion of the course, will obtain a SLP (Short Learning Programme) Diploma and ECTS credits.
This initiative is part of the activities that COPEAM promotes since 2015 to contribute to enhancing the quality of information about climate change and environmental challenges.
