On 25 October, in the framework of the conference "Women as Agents of Change in the South of the Mediterranean Region" organized by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, COPEAM will take part to the round table « The media as instruments for the promotion of the role of women». On this occasion the video “Mimosa and Jasmine” will be showed.
COPEAM will participate in the 63° Edition of the Prix Italia presenting two events:
– On September 20th, COPEAM Women Commission will organize a debate focused on the developments in women social and political life further to the Arab spring and on the eve of the Tunisian elections.

Joussour (bridges): a Euro-Mediterranean coproduction devoted to the environment soon to be implemented
JOUSSOUR project co-funding by EU up to 89,99% on an overall budget of € 497.044,93 – started in September 2011.
In this framework, COPEAM, in line with its purpose to, among others, promote coproduction projects, Mediterranean ones in particular, coordinates the consortium, composed by ASBU, PBS (Malta) and RAI (Italy). Med Agora is a project conceived and coordinated by COPEAM (Permanent Conference of Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators) and addressed to all operators of Euro-Mediterranean audiovisual sector. Our goal is to network, connect producers, directors, buyers, sales agents, festivals, organizations supporting audiovisual production (Film Commissions …), training centres, professional institutes, and – more generally – anyone who works in favour of professional and cultural cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean audiovisual field. Following the success of the first edition of the project « Ulysse 2.0 », a training session on the production of web-docs was organized in Tunis thanks to CFI and COPEAM, in collaboration with ARTE, ESJ(Lille) and ISAM(Tunis) for a group of 10 Tunisian journalists and bloggers. One day introducing the techniques and the objectives of the training has been followed by a practical session: the 10 participants – coming from different Tunisian media : radios, blogs, print and on-line press – have chosen the portraits of Tunisian young people to be realized directly on the field.
