28-31 July 2021 – Valley of the Temples of Agrigento (Italy)
The Sicilymovie – Festival del cinema di Agrigento (Sicily) is a festival of short films, documentaries, video clips and animation shorts, that will take place from 28 to 31 July in the extraordinary archaeological park of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento.
The festival’s main partner is the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), member of COPEAM.
The call for entries is open to 6 different categories, among which the IFAD-COPEAM joint Award for the “Thematic documentary”: works that look at food security and issues facing rural communities. Suggested themes include climate and environment issues, nutrition and nutrition education, indigenous peoples, gender and young people. Documentaries must have a focus on the Mediterranean countries. Maximum duration is 20 minutes, including opening and ending titles.
