
COPEAM presented the key outcomes of the EU-funded project โ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ & ๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆโ โ the ๐บ๐ข๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐๐๐ ๐ถโ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ก ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐กโ๐๐ก ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ ๐๐ก๐ฆ, ๐๐๐ข๐๐ก๐ฆ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐ – during a training session for the Lazio Association of Journalists, as part of the launch event of the 10th Diversity Media Awards at the Foreign Press Association headquarters in Rome, in which was presented the new Diversity Media Research Report 2025, the study that analyzes how news, film, series, characters, and TV programs have transformed, over the past 10 years, the way we perceive diversity.
The report shows that over the past ten years the Italian public conversation around Diversity and inclusion has become more intense, although the perceived quality of the storytelling remains problematic: only 9% rate the treatment of diversity as โveryโ respectful. Films and TV series are seen as the most respectful media (84% and 82%).
