September 2025 – June 2026
Kantara’s 27th season (September 2025 – June 2026) was co-produced by seven radio stations from six Mediterranean countries, following the addition of Radio 2M (Morocco) to the production team.
The programme was enriched by a series of special editions and thematic features focusing on key issues such as artificial intelligence, women’s rights, the French-speaking world (La Francophonie), sport, corruption, and the environment, alongside episodes dedicated to individual Mediterranean countries.
Music also plays a central role in the programme, taking listeners on a journey through a rich variety of sounds and cross-cultural influences.
Kantara continues to be a platform for intercultural dialogue, addressing global challenges—technological, environmental, and social—while celebrating the unique identity of each Mediterranean territory.
In addition to being broadcast by all partner radio stations, the episodes are also available on major podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, and Deezer.
MEDIA PARTNERSHIPS:
A media partnership was established with the Mediterranean Forum on Artificial Intelligence (20–21 November 2025), held in Tunis under the auspices of the Tunisian Ministry of Communication Technologies and the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
A delegation from the Kantara team attended the event and interviewed a range of institutional representatives, academics, and business leaders. A special edition of the programme was produced and broadcast to mark Mediterranean Day on 28 November 2025.
As part of the COPEAM Annual Conference 2026 in Tunis, members of the team also met in person and produced a special episode on site.
