                      Med Agora is a project conceived and coordinated by COPEAM (Permanent Conference of Mediterranean Audiovisual Operators) and addressed to all operators of Euro-Mediterranean audiovisual sector.
                      Our goal is to network, connect producers, directors, buyers, sales agents, festivals, organizations supporting audiovisual production (Film Commissions …), training centres, professional institutes, and – more generally – anyone who works in favour of professional and cultural cooperation in the Euro-Mediterranean audiovisual field.
                      You can surf on three different sections:
                      1. Networking – To create your own profile, present your projects, look for partners, widen your contact lists.
                      2. Tips – The latest opportunities in the region: funding, trainings, call for projects, festivals, events. Enhance this section with your suggestions!
                      3. Projects – A space devoted to your proposals, just one rule applies: quality and a Mediterranean nature!

                      HIGHLIGHT

                      Med Agora is moving around

                      COPEAM presented its new professional social network conceived for the operators of the Euro-Med audiovisual sector in the framework of the “XVII Conferenza Euromediterranea sul Cinema”, last September in Venice, as well as on the occasion of the roundtable “Diplomacy in the Era of Internet: the influence of the Web and of the Social Networks on the new Mediterranean uprisings”, organised in Rome, in October 2011. In both the events, an assessment of the platform activities was illustrated.

                      Some data Officially launched in its pilot version in May 2011, at COPEAM 18th annual Conference in Cyprus, Med Agora currently gathers 74 members, 15 audiovisual projects, 48 festivals, 6 founding opportunities and much more.
                      All the members actively exchange communications, post videos and comments. Visits to Med Agora: Morocco, Algeria, Italy, France, Belgium, United States, Egypt, Israel, Cyprus, Germany, Tunisia, Greece, Finland, Croatia, Congo, Philippine, Spain. Members’ countries: Belgium, Tunisia, Morocco, France, Lebanon, Italy, Algeria, Greece.

                      Mission

                      COPEAM is a non-profit association devoted to the promotion of dialogue and cultural integration in the Mediterranean Region,throughout the involvement of more than 60 major players of the audiovisual sector, among which the public service radio and TV broadcasters from 26 countries in the area, besides professional and cultural associations, institutions, higher education institutions and specialization structures, independent producers and local authorities of Europe, Balkans, North Africa and Middle East.
