Inter-Rives 8: “SustainAbility – Stories of Changemakers”

According to the United Nations’ “Agenda 2030” and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the idea of sustainability doesn’t refer only to environmental issues, but it deals with a balanced connection of economic, social and environmental aspects of human society on the long term. It addresses key-global challenges such as poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice, and we are all – countries, governments, multilateral organizations, companies, civil society, individuals – concerned.

Inter-Rives 8 co-production wants to collect powerful stories of men and women who, with their particular skills, ideas, initiatives and efforts in different fields, have taken action for a more sustainable society.

A documentary series made of stories from different countries and contexts could be highly inspirational for the public and for the society in general, pointing out the importance of the contribution of each of us to improve the quality of everyone’s’ life.
