The INTER-RIVES TV co-production was presented on 24 October during the panel organized by Prix Italia, titled “Documentaries and Co-productions: A Thousand Ways to Tell Reality”, held at Palazzo Reale (Naples).
The collaborative framework and the advantages of this long-standing COPEAM–ASBU project were explained to a large audience of professionals and university students.
The two winning film directors of the latest edition, Fedia Ben Henda (Télévision Tunisienne) and Clara Blázquez (RTVE), also shared their experiences with the project.
Through the presentation of various projects, both completed and in progress, the panel showcased the different models and approaches to international co-productions currently used by public broadcasters, including the “basket” collections model, of which Inter-Rives is an example. Among the organizations present were EBU, TAL, ARTE, RAI, France Télévisions, NHK, and several independent producers collaborating on innovative transnational television projects.
