MEDITERRANEAN MARINE PARKS
Further to the success of the previous series devoted to football and Mediterranean harbors, COPEAM Radio Commission launched in 2013 a new coproduction on the Mediterranean Marine Parks.
Through portraits, the 12 public radios involved give visibility to the marine protected areas of different Mediterranean countries, showing the human dimension of these ecosystems and raising the general public awareness about the stakes and challenges of this exceptional natural and cultural heritage.
Each radio produce a 10-minute reportage on one of the marine parks of its country and diffused all the reportages produced by the other partners of the project.
Alongside the realization of series, two workshops for radio journalists, notably young and women professionals, were held in Marseille (October 2013) and in Madrid (February 2014).
This coproduction was made possible thanks to the financial support of the Agence des aires marines protégées, as well as the commitment of France Bleu RCFM (Radio France) as executive producer and COPEAM as international coordinator.
