For the 2025 edition of the Plural+ Video Festival, COPEAM has assigned its special prize to the Brasilian video “Rebuilding Life Between Borders” for its effective use of animation and the powerful, uplifting message conveyed through its story. Despite facing immense hardship and suffering, the video highlights how resilience and education are the only possessions that cannot be taken away — tools that empower individuals to shape their own destinies and rebuild their lives. It delivers a universal and deeply meaningful message: anyone can face discrimination or the pain of not belonging, but through solidarity and by listening to others’ stories, each of us can truly make a difference.
The winner video will be projected during the annual Conference of COPEAM to be held in Tunis in April 2026.
