Turkish Radio Television Corporation (TRT) is the first and only public service media in Türkiye and it has been carrying out its activities based on its nearly 100 years of radio experience and 60 years of TV experience.
TRT addresses audiences from all segments of the society through its 17 Television channels (12 national, 5 international), 17 radio channels (11 national, 6 international), 8 international digital news platforms, web and radio broadcasts in 41 languages and dialects, video on demand platform “tabii”, training platform TRT Academy as well as 18 representative offices in strategic locations around the world plus digital apps, magazines and internationally awarded co-productions.
TRT also organizes a diverse array of international events annually, such as TRT World Forum, TRT World Citizen Humanitarian Film Festival and TRT International Documentary Awards.
Besides COPEAM, TRT is also a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU), Mediterranean Center of Audiovisual Communication (CMCA), African Union of Broadasting (AUB) and the Association for International Broadcasting (AIB).
