“Sports Journalism: from broadcast to digital”: TRT International Training Course in collaboration with COPEAM

Ankara, 29-30 Janvier 2026

Thanks to a collaboration with TRT-Türkiye, holding the presidency of COPEAM Training Commission, a journalism training course will take place in Ankara on 29-30 January 2026, open to a group of 15 beneficiaries from COPEAM member televisions based in the Balkans and the MENA Region.

The course, coordinated by TRT-Academy, will be focused on “SPORTS JOURNALISM: FROM BROADCAST TO DIGITAL”.   During the 2 days of training, multiple aspects of sports journalism will be addressed, from production processes of sports broadcasting to effective sports commentary and social media integration.

This capacity building initiative is particular relevant as 2026 will be marked by major international sports events – in particular the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 20^th Mediterranean Games.
