Rami Serhal, a young Lebanese director and graduate of the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (Alba), won the Special Award from Anica Academy and the International Telematic University UniNettuno for Best Screenplay with his short film Toilet Paper, as part of this edition of A première vue.
Thanks to this award, Rami had the opportunity to take part in an intensive three-day masterclass in Rome with American producer and screenwriter Bobette Buster, organized by Anica Academy. He also had the chance to meet other students and young professionals from the film industry.
Another significant achievement is the decision of CINEMAMED – the Mediterranean Film Festival in Brussels (27 November – 5 December 2025) to screen La conspiration des tortues by Kamir Abbas-Terki (LabDZ – Algeria), already winner of the TV5Monde Grand Prix, in the Coup de Cœur du court section, and to invite the young director to join the RêVolution Jury of the festival.
A première vue continues to create valuable opportunities for training and networking for these emerging talents.
