Inter-Rives
Inter-Rives (Between the shores) is an international TV co-production project open to the televisions members of COPEAM and ASBU (Arab States Broadcasting Union). It aims at producing a documentary TV series covering a cultural or social topic that is relevant to the Euro-Mediterranean region.
Each co-producing broadcaster produces a documentary and, according to the “basket formula”, acquires the rights to transmit free of charge the whole series.
Under the supervision of a coordination team (COPEAM, ASBU and two experts from both the north and the south of the Mediterranean) all the film directors assigned to the project participate in 2 co-production workshops: the first one is devoted to the sharing of the work methods and editorial guidelines, and for the stories selection; the second one is focused on the screening of the in-progress productions before the final editing.
The accomplished collection is provided to the co-producing TVs for the broadcasting.
