
The À Première Vue Award has strengthened its international partnership, bringing together several organizations from the audiovisual sector. The five schools from the Southern Mediterranean participating in the Award submitted 20 films for this edition.
Following the decisions of the two international juries (jury of experts and youth jury), in May 2026, COPEAM and the partners of the À Première Vue Prize announced the winners of the 5th edition of the Mediterranean School Film Prize.
4 prizes and 1 special mention were awarded:
Grand Prix TV5MONDE — participation in the FIDCampus residency (Marseille – July 2026)
FILS DE L’OMBRE — Paul Ng / ESAV Marrakech
Rai Cinema Prize — purchase of rights for VOD distribution on Rai Cinema Channel (Italy)
AMIN — Salma Kortobi / ESAV Marrakech
Anica Academy / Uninettuno University Prize — participation in an international workshop (Rome)
YA HASRAH — Hichem Hamzaoui / LabDZ Algérie
Special Mention [for its original language]

In the framework of 3 screenings and voting sessions held in Marseille, Tangier and Rome between April and early May, around 170 students watched 5 of the 20 competing short films and selected this year’s winner:
