
This year, the À PREMIÈRE VUE Prize has further expanded its network of partners.
Dar Al Kalima University in Bethlehem, Palestine, took part for the first time with two short films, bringing the number of participating countries to five and the total number of films in competition for this edition to twenty.

Thanks to the involvement of ANICA Academy and the Uninettuno University, a new prize was introduced, and a voting session for the Youth Award was held in Rome.
Following the decisions of the two international juries, in May 2025, COPEAM and the partners of the À PREMIÈRE VUE Prize announced the winners of the 4th edition of the Mediterranean School Film Prize.
4 prizes and 1 special mention were awarded:
Grand Prix TV5MONDE — participation in the FIDCampus residency (Marseille – July 2025)
La conspiration des tortues by Kamir Abbas-Terki / LabDZ
Rai Cinema Prize — purchase of rights for VOD distribution on Rai Cinema Channel (Italy)
Shattered Memory by Hayat Laban / Dar Al Kalima University
Anica Academy / Uninettuno University Prize — participation in an international workshop with American screenwriter and producer Bobette Buster (Rome – September 2025)
Toilet Paper by Rami Serhal / ALBA
Special Mention [for its original visual and cinematic language]

In the framework of 3 screenings and voting sessions held in Marseille, Tangier and Rome between April and early May, around 150 students watched 6 of the 20 competing short films and selected this year’s winner:
Shattered Memory by Hayat Laban / Dar Al Kalima University.
